Becoming a Café Barista is a two-day immersive training designed to ensure you can step confidently into the role of a professional barista in your café. Running from 9am to 3pm over two days, this course gives you the foundation needed to both make and serve coffee exceptionally well. We balance theory and hands-on practice, allowing you to not only understand the why behind great coffee, but to confidently apply it behind the bar.

The course begins by exploring the heart and culture behind what makes coffee truly great, grounding the experience in purpose, craft, and hospitality. We then unpack the theory of espresso extraction before moving into practical exercises on how to consistently produce tasty, well-balanced shots.

Hands-on training continues with milk steaming and pouring techniques, giving you a clear understanding of texture, temperature, and how to craft high-quality beverages. A practical latte art session adds creativity and fun to the learning journey, while the art of hospitality and workflow are explored not just as concepts, but through real, practical execution in a café-style environment.

At the end of the two days, each participant undergoes a focused assessment. This is intentionally designed to extract the most value from the course, highlighting individual strengths and identifying areas for growth that can be further developed back in your store.
