Join us for an inspiring afternoon with Ollie as he shares the remarkable journey of how he started, sustained, and grew his very own business, beginning from his days as a barista. Today, Ollie’s stands as a beloved community hangout in the heart of Sea Point, Cape Town, built on hard work, dedication, and a deep love for the people who supported him along the way. In 2024, Ollie’s was proudly crowned Best Coffee on the Go by Coffee Magazine SA.

But Ollie’s story doesn’t start there. From selling coffee in 2017 at the Biscuit Mill on weekends, to losing his spot during Covid, returning to a full-time job, and then boldly stepping into a new opportunity in 2022, his path is a powerful reminder of resilience and passion. As he says, “Somebody reached out about this place. I took 30 minutes off, came to look, and I said, ‘I’m in.’ A month later, I resigned from my job and I’ve been here since then.”
